FSVP Programs

If you import food into the U.S., the FDA requires you to have a Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) — no exceptions. It doesn’t matter where your products come from or how small your operation is. If you’re the importer of record, you’re responsible for ensuring your suppliers meet U.S. safety standards.

What is an FSVP?

An FSVP is a set of documents and procedures that shows you’ve done your due diligence:

    - You know who your foreign suppliers are

    - You’ve checked their food safety practices

    - You’re verifying that their products are safe and legal to sell in the U.S.

It’s not optional — it’s federal law under FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act). If you don’t have an FSVP in place, the FDA can detain your shipments, issue warning letters, or worse — shut down your operations.

Why You Need It:

- If you get flagged by Customs or the FDA and you don’t have a complete FSVP ready to show, you’re already in trouble. We’ve seen it happen. We’ve cleaned it up. And we know how to get it done — fast and right.

Why Work With Us?

 - We know what the FDA looks for — and what they’ll tear apart.

- We build documents that actually pass inspection, not just sit in a file collecting dust.

We don’t waste time, we don’t play games, and we don’t work with people who aren’t serious. You want to stay in business? Start by getting compliant. We’ll handle the paperwork — you focus on importing.
